Sporks!! Well who knew?
Happy Fathers Day!
I stretched the Drakeford ‘Rule of thumb’ today and finally saw my Parental Guidance for the first time since February.
As a single person living alone, I’m pretty sure I qualify to travel further on compassionate grounds.
Daisy Bug hasn’t been out since her service and MOT in March so I dolled up, loaded her with gifts and gave the old girl a good run down the motorway.
It was too cold to get the top off but we blasted some ELO and made the most of our freedom.
Funny little SMART car was trying to get in to Daisys’ boot but she shook him off at the first hill and the second and the third...
Arrived at the Parental Mothership half an hour early - we don’t do late in our family, and took my seat under the socially distanced arranged Car port.
We tend to buy little gifts for each other when we see things we think would be nice so we each had a bag to swap. “Put yours there and stand back and I’ll get it” my Pops instructed.
So we exchanged gifts 😊 spare face coverings from me so Mum can wash them, sweets for my Pops and I got......... Sporks!!!!
After sharing the joyous news of this gift with a dear friend, she informed me if I had seen Toy Story 4 I would know of the existence of the Spork. I’m now wondering how many other wonderful and really useful things am I missing out on by having not watched Toy Story 4....?
I’m feeling so happy after seeing my Parental guidance, I hope you’ve all had a lovely Fathers Day, whether it be in spirit or person x
I thought I’d share some pics of my lovely friends wearing face coverings I have made for them.
Love, Tx
