Another week in lockdown...
Another week of lockdown in Wales and following the sunshine we enjoyed on our staycation the weather has now turned and my sun parched garden is happily soaking up the much needed rain.
My return to work wasn’t too bad, the boys had still been getting me up early on my week off so the body clock didn’t need adjusting. And working from home reduces the travelling time somewhat!
There hasn’t been much time for sewing yet this week but I have managed a bit of online shopping. I did struggle with this when we first went into lockdown. Should I be supporting businesses who are struggling? but then am I putting people at risk for things I can manage without. As a Libra lady every decision is a constant balancing act but as lockdown is easing I’m leaning toward the supporting side. I hope I’ve made the right decision.
Phil my friendly postie has commented that the boys no longer bark when he pops my purchases through the letter box. After an early morning walk they enjoy their morning nap too much to bother about his intrusion. I think Phil is secretly disappointed that his visits don’t get the expected reaction, he knows they would welcome him with wagging tails and wet tongues if they knew he was here. Hopefully my happy shout of “Thanks Phil!” As he squeezes my treasure through the letterbox is some consolation.
So here are some of the beautiful fabrics that have been delivered this week.
If you would like to order face coverings please get in touch. I charge a nominal fee to cover my costs. The face coverings are two layers of fabric and non woven interfacing. I found three layers made it difficult to breathe however if you would like an extra layer just ask.
Tx
